Trading Area & Facilities

The internal works to the Jolly Potters will include:
  • Closed off the existing walkway into the dining area & directed all traffic through the new transition area, a new screen with vision through into dining area.
  • New timber karndean on main circulation route out to rear beer garden.
  • New rear lobby exiting out onto beer garden.
  • A mix of family booths & mid-high dining seating with high drink shelf to rear.
  • New balustrade to the raised area, sand & re-polish existing timber to the raised area & add new feature wall claddings.
  • New lighting, furniture, blinds & bric a brac to suit the layout.
  • Refurbish existing furniture where possible for re-use. Currently,
  • The Jolly Potters consists of one large trading area separated by double doors making it into two segmented areas, possible to use one area as a function room to generate income.
  • Full catering kitchen.
The outdoor area will be fully transformed to create perfect a space to enjoy drinks and casual dining in the warmer months. The area behind the dining room will be more family friendly. Works will include:
  • Forming a new play area with surface mulch at the rear.
  • Adding a family area with large round picnic tables.
  • Carrying out repairs to the existing smoking shelter.
  • Repairing and jet washing the existing floor surfaces.
  • Repairing and re-lining the car park.
  • Decorating with festoon lighting, wall bulkheads, and outdoor lanterns.
  • Adding new planters and improving lawn areas.
