The Horse & Jockey is a popular pub located in the heart of Wrexham Town Centre. The 16th century Inn, which is a focal point in the town due to its thatched roof, benefits from passing, daytime trade thanks to shoppers and visitors to Wrexham and is also well supported by its local/regular custom. There is an existing strong core wet led customer base and an opportunity exists to reintroduce food to increase overall sales and profitability by focusing on a well-thought-out, value for money, traditional pub food offer. A well-thought-out ‘rhythm of the week’ entertainment programme including quiz nights, live music and charity events would help consistently boost mid-week trade.

Trading Area & Facilities

The pub is an open plan operation and has a very traditional feel, the stone floors and wooden beams help provide a warm and welcoming ambiance. The entrance is directly off the high street into the main trading area, with the bar to the left-hand side. The various nooks and snugs of the trade space help generate a cosy feeling, and these are well zoned into clear drinking and eating areas. Towards the back of the pub is the dining area with approximately 30 covers. The kitchen and prep area are on the first floor with the cellar on the ground floor.

Note that on FRI Agreements deposits will always be 3 month's rent in advance and fixtures and fittings (F&F) must always be purchased.
