The Gainsborough is a lively and popular market town pub located within Sudbury. The pub sits roadside on the main roundabout leading in and out of the town. It is also close to plenty of residential housing. The surrounding area three other pubs and bars nearby.
The pub is spacious with one main trading area with space for 60-70 covers. On the bar there are 8 keg lines and 4 cask lines. The pub has historically benefited from a good back bar trade. There is also a kitchen to allow the next Operator to put on a food offering. The current offer at the pub is classic pub food including Sunday roasts. This is complemented by a range of premium drinks including cask ales and cocktails.

Trading Area & Facilities

Inside, the pub has one main trading area with lots of different seating areas for customers. The interior is traditional and homely. The beamed ceilings and five fireplaces create a cosy atmosphere. The catering kitchen on-site can accommodate circa 55-60 covers.
Outside, there is a patio terrace which is very popular during the warmer summer months. There is a marquee with enough space for 8 large tables and also a shed for kitchen storage.

Private accommodation consists of three bedrooms (including an en-suite to the master), kitchen, bathroom, office and living room.
