The Shroppie Fly is situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Audlem on the side of the Shropshire Union Canal next to the A525. With its quirky bar and great outside trading area, this beautifully located pub is the perfect spot for locals and visitors to stop and take advantage of a great food and drink offer. 
It is a popular destination for families and walkers along the canal but with its large car park it can easily accommodate passing trade as well.

Trading Area & Facilities

The trading facilities at Shroppie Fly comprises of a large through lounge with a designated restaurant dining area. There is also a separate bar area which currently has a pool table in it, both have their own servery, one them is shaped like a boat to add that little bit of quirkiness to the pub. With a large commercial kitchen and preparation area to rear, the pub has the potential to introduce a new and exciting food offer. There is a large outside trading area with bench style seating that is ideally situated right next to the canal, great for those warm summer days and nights.  A large car park in right next to the pub allowing for passing trade.

The private accommodation at the Shroppie Fly consists of Three bedrooms, bathroom, and Kitchen with lounge area. In line with our Ready to Trade Promise, we will ensure the private accommodation is in good condition, so that you can focus on your business

In order to ensure a successful start-up, all applicants must have a minimum £10,000 un-borrowed funds.
The calculation of the Estimated Minimum Ingoing Costs assumes a minimum deposit of 1 month's rent and that fixtures and fittings (F&F) are rented. The subsequent deposit build up and F&F rental costs are not included in the rent model or ongoing costs below.
Note that on FRI Agreements deposits will always be 3 month's rent in advance and fixtures and fittings (F&F) must always be purchased.

A deposit of 6 month's rent will be required for operators trading under a Limited Company with no Guarantors.
