The Gate Inn is situated opposite the local primary school in Hugglescote, putting it right at the heart of the local community and providing the opportunity to market to and attract the many parents that visit the school on a daily basis.

The pub has a traditional bar and lounge layout with one central bar feeding both sides. There s a separate pool/games room and a function room that s been recently refurbished with its own bar facility. This function room can accommodate 60-80 people, and there s scope and opportunity to grow the rooms trade at this site. Some local businesses in the area have used the room for meeting purposes, and it would make a great venue for parties and events. As there is no catering kitchen at this site, an operator could create a simple back bar offer to provide light bites at these events, with the help of Star Pubs & Bars.
