The Blacksmiths is located in the idyllic village of Everton, off the Bawtry road near Doncaster. The pub is surrounded by a lucrative customer base, the majority of whom are affluent families and mature professionals looking for a quality local pub with a great food offering. Surrounded by a variety of shops and residential estates, The Blacksmiths has access to a large market both day and night.

The Blacksmiths is a traditional 17th Century former coaching inn with low beam ceilings and traditional features. An extensive refurbishment will modernise The Blacksmiths and propel it into the 21st Century, creating a refreshed and versatile venue where customers will love to spend their time. A major new extension with large bi-folding doors in place of the conservatory will offer a premium destination dining venue in the local area, whilst the revamped letting rooms and external area will give the pub a boutique feel. A refreshed bar and games area means The Blacksmiths will still retain its classic country pub atmosphere, offering multiple income streams by appealing to a wide variety of customers.

The extensive refurbishment will further refine and diversify The Blacksmiths' offer. With the right marketing, the pub can become a B&B getaway, a premium destination dining venue offering pub classics, as well as a local pub for customers to socialise over a relaxed drink or game of pool. The vibrant outdoor area will also extend its appeal into the summer months with al fresco dining options. You will be experienced with food and know what it takes to develop and deliver a great pub food menu. Trading Area & Facilities

Inside, the pub will be transformed to create a larger and more appealing dining space that can accommodate circa 100 covers. The interior design will be a modern take on the classic country pub feel, with timber flooring and luxurious leather armchairs. The catering kitchen will be replaced with new equipment and the cellar will be refreshed to include our cutting edge Smart Dispense system.

Five letting rooms will be added, one of which will be family sized.

Outside, the pub will be given a refresh that sees a new paint job and appealing new signage. The al fresco dining space will be adorned with festoon lighting, new outdoor heaters and decorative planters to create a space that has the potential to be very popular, especially during the warmer summer months.


Applicants should be aware that all refurbishments are subject to final board approval which will be determined as part of the leasing process.

Where a significant investment is made in a pub by Star Pubs & Bars, an "Investment Exemption" will be required. The exemption means that the option of a Market Rent Option lease won't be available at rent review for a period of up to seven years for this site, as per The Pub Code (2016).

Private Accommodation

Private accommodation consists of two bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Where required there will be appropriate works carried out in line with the Star Pubs & Bars Ready to Trade promise.
