Royal Oak is situated in the centre of Polesworth village, just outside of Tamworth. 

It is the heart of the community, with an offer of live sports, darts and a jukebox it attracts a diverse range of customers from the more mature regulars to a younger clientele. It is a small pub with a cosy feel to it, circa 80 seats, with a strong wet trade.  There is no opportunity to introduce food due to the size of the kitchen but there is the potential to drive the business forward through live entertainment.

Trading Area & Facilities

The pub is a single room, traditionally laid out with one central bar serving the lounge area and a separate bar area with a darts board.  It has a mix of fixed and loose seating, with traditional fireplaces creating a cosy atmosphere.

The small outdoor garden area with artificial grass and picnic style seating is perfect to accommodate extra trade during the warmer months.  There is a car park on the opposite side of the road making it easily accessible.

Private Accommodation

Private accommodation consists of three bedrooms, a joint lounge/kitchen and a bathroom. In line with our Ready to Trade Promise, we will ensure the private accommodation is in good condition, so that you can focus on your business.
