The Hazeldene Hotel is a short walk from the historic wedding venue Famous Blacksmiths Shop in Gretna Green and also close to the A74 and Gretna outlet shopping village. Gretna Green is a small town on the Solway Coastal Route and along with The Famous Blacksmiths Shop attracts visitors from around the world to get married, visit the fascinating Blacksmiths Shop museum and enjoy everything the area has to offer. The local community is made up of mostly couples and families. The hotel is currently popular with visitors to the area, who go for meals, functions including weddings and accommodation and there is great potential for the right operator to grow this multiple income stream.

Trading Area & Facilities

The Hazeldene hotel has a traditional feel with a Scottish themed décor and includes a lot of natural finishes in wood and exposed brickwork giving it a cosy and welcoming feel.

The ground floor includes an open plan community bar area with pool table and a large separate dining area, which doubles as a function area. The dining area can seat approximately 60. Upstairs there are 11 en suite letting rooms including a suite with a 4 poster bed and whirlpool tub.

Externally the hotel is well-maintained and contemporary with definite kerb appeal. There is a good size car park and a very appealing decked outside trading area, which has pull-down covers making it suitable for use all year round.
