The Dog Inn is located in Whittington, a scenic village in the English countryside. The pub is situated in the heart of the village on junction that combines four busy roads. Surrounding the pub is an affluent demographic, with approximately 30,000 adults within a 10 minute journey from the site.

The Dog Inn currently has a strong good quality food and drinks offer which is made possible due to the excellent catering facilities. These allow the operator to serve food to such high standards the locals have come to expect from the pub.

There are 4 letting rooms available at the site. These are currently at a basic standard, however with some investment, these could be significantly improved and become a viable revenue stream.

Trading Area & Facilities

The Dog Inn interior trading facilities consists of two lounge areas and a separate dining room. The bar areas have approx. 60 covers and the dining room has 40 covers giving the pub a total of circa 100 covers. The décor has recently received a refurb which gives the site a mix of modern and traditional appearance. Staying to true to its name, the artwork and aesthetic consist mostly of dogs.

Externally, there is an impressive patio with room for around six to eight benches at the back of the pub. A car park is also situated behind the pub which has space for 20 cars. The front of the pub simple but effective aesthetic, with two flower pots either side of the main entrance. The appearance of the rear of the pub is traditional red brickwork.

Private Accommodation

The private accommodation consists of bedrooms, kitchen & bathroom and a lounge and where required there will be appropriate works carried out in line with the Star Pubs & Bars Ready to Trade Promise.
