Red Lion Plawsworth

Destination Pub with Appeal

The Red Lion enjoys a prime roadside position on the A167 on the edge of the village of Plawsworth and approximately 4 miles north of Durham. The A167 is a main arterial road linking Durham and Chester le Street and as such the pub benefits from the very high volume of passing trade. This delightful pub is in a great catchment area and currently specialises in excellent quality, home cooked food, which is the predominant part of the business and well-kept cask ales. This is an exciting business opportunity with the chance to take advantage of the pub's brilliant location and build on the already busy food and bar trade. In addition, there is also scope to convert the private accommodation into four or five en-suite letting bedrooms.
