The Horse & Jockey is a traditional country-style destination pub in great condition. In a prominent position on a busy road on the outskirts of Lichfield, it benefits from plenty of passing trade and has ample parking to cater for this. There is a lot of footfall from the surrounding villages and is within walking distance of Whittington Military barracks, the local golf and rugby clubs.

This site has a strong food offer using locally sourced produce and caters for a variety of food occasions throughout the day. Trading Area & Facilities

The Horse & Jockey trades across two separate areas: the main bar and lounge/restaurant. Recently re-decorated with a very modern and bright aesthetic. There a good-sized catering kitchen with facilities to cater for 40 covers.

There is a large beer garden with children’s play area and an adjacent field which can accommodate a marquee for hosting events. Two car parks make it accessible.

The private accommodation consists of 3 bedrooms, a lounge, kitchen and bathroom. In line with our Ready to Trade Promise, we will ensure the private accommodation is in good condition so that you can focus on your business.

The calculation of the Estimated Minimum Ingoing Costs assumes a minimum deposit of 1 month's rent and that fixtures and fittings (F&F) are rented. The subsequent deposit build up and F&F rental costs are not included in the rent model or ongoing costs below.
Note that on FRI Agreements deposits will always be 3 month's rent in advance and fixtures and fittings (F&F) must always be purchased.

A deposit of 6 month's rent will be required for operators trading under a Limited Company with no Guarantors.
