This popular community hub is located within a densely populated suburb of Leeds. With a variety of local amenities close by, the pub benefits from plenty of passing trade. There is lot of opportunity at the pub to cater to private events such as birthday parties and receptions, due to its size and location. The lay out would also allow for entertainment such as live bands. Sports are a big focus and the introduction of a pool and darts team would be a great way to boost trade. There is the added bonus of not only a beer garden but also a car park on site.

You may be from a management background in hospitality or retail - what matters is your passion for great customer service and your ability to lead and motivate a team of staff. Prior experience in a team leadership role will be essential. A knowledge of the local area will also be preferred for this pub.

Trading Area & Facilities

Inside, the pub is open plan and served by one central bar. There is ample space inside for not only seating but also pubs games like darts and pool. The space also has the ability to be converted into a dance floor for weekend trade or private events - there is a stage that can be used for live acts. There is a semi private, snug like seating area also.

To the rear of the pub, there is a patio, which is partly covered. There is a good-sized car park on site also.

Applicants should be aware that all refurbishments are subject to final board approval which will be determined as part of the leasing process.

Where a significant investment is made in a pub by Star Pubs & Bars, an "Investment Exemption" will be required. The exemption means that the option of a Market Rent Option lease won't be available at rent review for a period of up to seven years for this site, as per The Pub Code (2016).

The private accommodation consists of bedrooms, kitchen & bathroom and a lounge and where required there will be appropriate works carried out in line with the Star Pubs & Bars Ready to Trade Promise.
