The Woodend Bar is situated in the Mount Vernon area in the east end of Glasgow on the Hamilton Road.
The pub is well maintained and does a great trade in functions, catering especially for funerals due to it's proximity to the local cemetary. The function trade is key to the success of the Woodend but it does have lots more to offer including a great outside space, car park, kitchen and a large trading area although the pub could do with a refreshed decor to bring it more up to date.

The pub has a large ground floor trading area with the bar being the focal point. The area is zoned for drinking, eating and functions and is very adaptable. The Woodend is nicely maintained but the decor would benefit from a refresh. There is a kitchen on site to support the food offer.
