The pub offers classic pub grub, a beer garden and a games room to its customers - which include locals, tourists and hikers. The area consists mainly of families and mature couples but is also popular with nature enthusiasts due to various coastal walking routes and the nearby beach. The pub is only ten minutes away from local rail and bus links and has a steady established drinks trade, which is complimented by a pub grub menu. The Sunday lunch is particularly well received by visitors. Cask Ales are also served.

Trading Area & Facilities

Internally, The Thompson's Bell has a traditional feel, with and L shaped bar area with tables and some boothed seating. There is a separate dining area to the rear. Outside, the pub has a charming rural feel - with floral window boxes, bay windows and a small smoking area. There is a beer garden to the rear of the property.
