Formerly a 13th Century farmhouse, now a traditional country Inn, the Robert Burre Oozes charm and character. Situated on Burrs Road in Clacton-on-Sea, the largest town on the Essex Sunshine Coast. This bustling seaside resort boasts an array of entertainment facilities including a pleasure pier, arcades, the Princes and the Westcliff Theatres, a golf course, seafront walks, water sports and an airfield offering pleasure flights. The Robert Burre is in an ideal location, with a good quality food and and drink package and large outdoor trading area to benefit from the broad spectrum of visitors to the area.

Not forgetting the local trade, with 11,000 adults residing within a 1 mile radius, it has a solid foundation of community support, which is kept strong by the good quality, value food and entertainment package on offer.

To build on the sites already strong reputation we are looking for an experienced food operator to develop the current menu, taking it to the next level to attract a wider audience,making it the go to destination for a great experience.

Trading Area & Facilities

Internally the Inn is semi open plan with clearly defined zones and has one back bar servicing all areas. There is a large area set aside for diners with a mix of traditional and booth seating, a large red brick open fire place separates the games areas which hosts a a pool table and darts board.

Externally their is a large grassy, outside trading area with bench style seating and a car park for easy access.
