The Red Lion is located on the main road into the village of Earl Shilton, which situated between Leicester and Hinckley. With the local resident population within a 10 minute walk, this traditional wet led pub has been known for it's cask ales and a place to enjoy a drink with friends whilst watching the latest sporting action. With entertainment remaining a key part of the Red Lion customers have the opportunity to enjoy a game of dominoes, crib or darts.

Currently closed, we are looking for an experienced publican who can make the Red Lion the beating heart of the community once again. To make a success of the business you will be familiar with Earl Shilton and its customer base with a working knowledge of the local entertainment scene preferably with links to the local community and pub teams, i.e. Darts.

Trading Area & Facilities

Internally it is a small yet perfectly formed pub with one bar set to an open plan trading area. Re-furbished in 2017 the pub has been remodelled and redecorated throughout to create a more welcoming space for family and friends to relax, including a new bar, furnishings, flooring, lighting.

Externally the outdoor space was updated with new furniture, seating twelve people, lighting, planters and signage making this the ideal venue to enjoy in the summer months. There is parking to the side of the property making it easily accessible.

Private Accommodation

The private accommodation consists of two bedrooms, a lounge, kitchen and bathroom. Where required there will be appropriate works carried out in line with the Star Pubs & Bars Ready to Trade Promise.
