Located in the popular seaside resort of Barry, Wales, O'Briens is a traditional local, occupying an enviable position, just off the pedestrianised shopping street in the town. Surrounded by local businesses and positioned at the beginning of the main shopping district, the pub has the opportunity to attract shoppers, tourists and retail workers.

Currently, the focus is limited to the drinks trade in O'Briens. However, the pub is within easy walking distance for shoppers and so could become the go-to venue, meeting the needs of very different customers in the town. Although there is no kitchen at this site, there is still ample opportunity to expand the offer. By day it should be a home away from home, offering a fresh pastries, Afternoon Tea, coffee, a quick bite at lunchtime or chilled glass of wine. By night it should change into a town centre bar, as retail and office workers stop by and local residents enjoy a night on the town.

Trading Area & Facilities

O'Briens has one large open plan trading area consisting of a central bar with fixed seating and tables to the front of the room with a large open plan area to the rear of the room with a raised stage area currently used for hosting live music. The pub has a pool table situated in the bar and also has a skittles alley to the side of the venue. With no catering kitchen on site O'Briens does not currently have a food offer.
