Golden Lion Corbridge

Fantastic Multiple Income Stream Business

The Golden Lion is located in the centre of the historic town of Corbridge, in the heart of Hadrian's Wall Country, a picturesque and thriving town, with great tourist attractions steeped in history. Corbridge is 16 miles west of Newcastle and 4 miles east of Hexham and has good transport links with its own train station on the Newcastle to Carlisle line and easy access to the A69 linking Newcastle to Carlisle and the A1 by way of the A695.

Corbridge is renowned for its quaint streets and unique boutique shops and is an ideal base from which to explore the beauty of Northumberland. This attractive, popular pub has a core local trade which is augmented by a large tourist influx who visit Corbridge, and boasts an excellent reputation.

The Golden Lion offers a great dining and drinking experience, providing homemade dishes alongside a wide range of good quality keg beers, lagers, ciders and a range of cask ales. This combined with six en-suite letting rooms and a strong established trade, makes for a high quality multiple income stream business and fantastic opportunity for the new operator.

We are looking for an experienced food operator capable of enhancing ties with the local community and maintaining and developing the existing food & drinks trade. You will also be able to develop new business, through sound 'hands on' management and rigorous standards.
