George & Dragon Conway North

Fantastic Opportunity - Available on our Just Add Talent Agreement

The George & Dragon is often used by visitors to the area who wish to enjoy a drink or a good value bite to eat. In the cold winter months, the roar of the log burner entices walkers and day-trippers and in the summer months, the beer garden is a huge pull. Food currently makes up 20% of trade and there is potential to increase this with the use of promotions and other footfall drivers, especially in the winter months. The pub benefits from seven letting rooms, which are popular, particularly at weekends, with tourists and people visiting the wider Conwy area.

A wide variety of premium drinks including beer, cider, coffee and soft drinks will cater for all the local area demographics and visitors making the George & Dragon the 'go to ' pub in the local area. The quality food offer, versatile bar area and family-friendly dining area makes the pub a welcoming venue.

The drinks range is centrally driven and will have both leading national brands and local heroes, allowing this pub to excel in its local market.

The food offer will be based on pub classics with a focus on quality and provenance, and there is the opportunity to expand this offer with our bolt on specials and this can be agreed as part of our business planning discussions.

Hospitality Heroes Wanted!

Just Add Talent is an ideal opportunity for hard-working, talented people to take on their own pub business. The pub offer is centrally driven by us and locally executed by you. Trading Area & Facilities

The pub is a traditional coaching inn. It is a large two-room operation, separated by a walkway to the beer garden. Entrance is into the main trading area, on the left hand, which is used predominantly as a lounge. This space has a variety of fixed and loose seating and dogs are welcome on the stone floor area towards the back of the building. During the day (when the restaurant is not open) people can eat in any area of the lounge. The well-equipped commercial kitchen and restaurant area, which can seat approx. 20 covers, are on the right hand side of the building. The restaurant benefits from having its own toilet and baby change facility. The George & Dragon has seven en-suite letting rooms, which are all of an excellent standard, and a number of them have wonderful views overlooking the Conwy Marina. The beer garden is a huge advantage in the summer months, which adds a large amount of trade space to the pub.

Private Accommodation

The private accommodation consists of 2 bedrooms; a bathroom, and kitchen/diner. In line with our Ready to Trade Promise, we will ensure the private accommodation is in good condition, so that you can focus on your business.
