The surrounding neighbourhood has good reputation and this pub has the potential to become the hub of the local community.

The Publican Awards recently named Star Pubs & Bars the best leased and tenanted pub company of 2018. We are now planning to invest in The Flying Scotsman to develop the pub into a beloved hub of the local community. The catering kitchen on site will allow for an appealing food offer to be developed - visitors currently enjoy pub classics and a Sunday carvery in a relaxed, informal setting. Entertainment and pub games are also a focus of the establishment. There is a large beer garden on site which includes a child's play area - a large car park is another feature.

Trading Area & Facilities

The Flying Scotsman is a large pub, serviced from one main bar. The space is decorated in a light colour scheme and the large windows allow for plenty of light. Flowing on from the bar is a room which is currently used for pub games such as pool. There is a separate dining space to the rear of the property and a catering kitchen also.

Outside, the pub benefits from having not only a large private car park but also a large beer garden with a child's play area. There is some space for outside seating to the front of the site also.

The calculation of the Estimated Minimum Ingoing Costs assumes a minimum deposit of 1 month's rent or £3,000 (whichever is greater) and that fixtures and fittings (F&F) are rented. The subsequent deposit build up and F&F rental costs are not included in the rent model or ongoing costs below.
