Trading Area & Facilities

Inside the Cartvale, the existing bar servery will be refurbished, and new décor will be introduced throughout to attract a mature, sports-orientated clientele.

Works will include the introduction of open screens and sub-divisions to create comfortable destination seating areas. A mixture of timber and tiled flooring throughout, with rustic plank finishes. Walls throughout the whole trading area will be a mixture of exposed brick/stone, brick slip cladding, distressed timber cladding, with minimal plain-painted plasterboard finishes. A new wood-burning stove will be provided in the public bar in order to create a snug area with soft seating.

Externally we will drop the current sills to increase window space and natural light and the signage will be refreshed.
We will create a new terrace to the rear that can also be seen from the street with new furniture added, including parasols. Planting will be introduced throughout and a new door will lead from the lounge to the beer garden.
