More Information

Popular Village Pub

The Black Horse is an established pub located within the village of Nettleham. As a previous winner of the 'Best Kept Village Award' on several occasions, Nettleham is known for its picturesque country setting. Over 2,500 adults live within a half mile radius of the pub and demographics consist mainly of families and mature couples who live a comfortable lifestyle.

Known for it's homecooked food and variety of cask ales, The Black Horse has an already established reputation. The pub offers all the home cooked pub classics that you would expect, along with premium menu items such as steaks and seafood dishes. There is also plenty of opportunity to capitalise on day trade, as the pub's second room can be used as a more informal cafe to offer coffee and cake.

Despite the pub's capacity to offer an appealing food menu, The Black Horse is ultimately a local's pub - the pool table would allow for sports teams or small competitions to be set up. Compliment your food menu with a variety of events such as quizzes and live sports viewings to draw in crowds and engage with locals.

The second trading area can be used for a more casual, daytime trade food offer such as coffees & cakes.

The interior design of the pub is pleasant and in good condition - the pub keeps its traditional coach house charm due to beamed ceiling and brick walls but also has a modern, welcoming feel.

Outside, there is a small beer terrace to the side of the pub.

Private Accommodation

Private accommodation at the pub consists of bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom. In line with our Ready To Trade Promise, we will ensure that the living accommodation at the pub has the necessary works completed on it so that you can focus on getting your business right.
