Vegan Menu Pulls In The Punters

Vegan Menu Pulls In The Punters

When licensee chef, Mike Hales of The Top Lock, Chorley, trialed a vegan week he was amazed by the response. “Vegan food is going down a storm,” says Mike. “It’s attracting new customers from 40 miles away. Vegans are very active on social media and often choose where mixed dining groups dine.  There’s been lots of tagging and retweets about our menu.”  Vegan dishes have proved so popular that the Top Lock’s now got a weekly changing vegan specials board, vegan beers and wines and highlights vegan options on the home page of their website. “We try to be as inventive with our vegan dishes as with the rest of our menu as it pays off.  Vegans are growing in number and are great advocates if you make the effort.”
